Description:
A steel ball and a wood ball with metal insert are held aloft by the two poles of an electromagnet. The two balls are dropped simultaneously by cutting the current to the magnet. Dropping the balls onto a hard surface shows that they fall at the same rate since only a single sound of impact is heard.
