Description:
A slide projector ight source that has a slit slide in it to create a line of white light. The line shines into the side of a clear prism laying on its side on an adjustable base. Rotate the prism until you see a clear spectrum appear off to the side. The light experiences dispersion as it travels through the prism. The white light comes out as bands of colors of the spectrum on a white background placed behind the prism or projected onto a wall..
