Circ vs lin harm mot.gif

Description:

Shadow projection is used to compare the motion of a mass on a spring with the motion of a point on a rotating disk.

Note to Staff: Allow a lot of time to match the period of the motor to that of the spring. This is sensitive to very small deviations. Also, use the motor for the rubber rope driver. It must be detached from the base and the disk attached.

Location:

  • Motor: Shelf C-4
