Stopped Pendulum

Description:
A pendulum with a heavy mass (around 500g) is hung from a rod. A shorter rod is hung parallel below the first rod. When the pendulum is released, it will swing, and if it has enough momentum, when the string shortens, it will swing all the way around the bottom rod.
