Description:
The beam from an electron gun can be deflected by the field of a bar magnet. The beam is intercepted by an angled phosphorous coated screen (with grid) which glows to show the path of the beam.
Location:
- Cathode Ray Apparatus: Shelf L-2
- High Voltage Supply: Shelf K-3
- Bar magnets: Drawers 71 and 72
