Description:

With a mortar and pestle grind up some green leaves and mix with a solution of acetone. Filter the acetone through a fine filter and obtain a clear green solution. Setup the overhead and diffraction grating as with the neodymium glasses and place the jar of green acetone on the overhead and note the spectrum colors that are absorbed.

Location:

  • Acetone: Under Fume Hood
  • Paper Slit: Shelf L-4
  • Diffraction Grating: Drawer 96
  • Green Leaves: Try Spinach
