Description:
A large coil connected to a galvanometer. Currents are induced by moving a bar magnet in and out or through the coil.
Also available to show this concept is a smaller coil connected to some LEDs. Move the magnet through the coil quickly to make the LEDs light up.
Location:
- Coil Shelf J-3
- Bar Magnet: DR 71
- Galvanometer: DR 83
- Small coil & LEDs: in box on Sh. J-3
