Description:
Electrostatic induction machine that is able to build up a high quantity of charge and develop a high voltage. Generate sparks jumping a gap of 4 - 5 inches. Two capacitor Leyden jars can be hooked in series to obtain a high voltage.
To operate this apparatus follow guidelines
make sure dust is removed from contacts and flywheels, copper contacts are bent out to touch flywheels and positioned in a X shape. Then make sure the belts are secure (if tension needs to be adjusted look under the apparatus to unscrew a wing nut and position accordingly)
Before touching flywheel make sure the apparatus discharged. After ensuring that the apparatus is clean and
