Low level Radioactive sources in the form of Orange Fiestaware Salt shaker (Uranium Oxide) and a Coleman Lantern Mantles (Thorium) are available along with a Geiger Counter.  Various absorbers of different materials and thicknesses are also available. Alpha, beta, and gamma sources can be distinguished by how easily they are absorbed by various material.

Description:

Low level Radioactive sources in the form of Orange Fiestaware Salt shaker (Uranium Oxide) and a Coleman Lantern Mantles (Thorium) are available along with a Geiger Counter. Various absorbers of different materials and thicknesses are also available. Alpha, beta, and gamma sources can be distinguished by how easily they are absorbed by various material.
