Description:

Various salts are suspended in liquid. A wire dipper is used to gather a sample of the salt and the held over a Bunsen burner and different colors are observed depending on the substance element. The spectrum can be observed using a diffraction grating.

Location:

  • Salts: Shelf L-4
  • Bunsen Burner: Drawer 55
  • Diffraction Gratings: Drawer 97
