A bright light source shoots a beam of light through a piece of white cardboard with a hole in it into a round flask filled with water. An index card or piece of cardboard is placed on the other side of the flask to block the main beam. The refracted light is dispersed by the water in the flask and forms a rainbow on the white cardboard background.

Description:
