Description:

Friction rods when rubbed become charged. Black plastic rod becomes negatively charged when rubbed with rabbit fur. Amber plexiglass rod becomes positively charged when rubbed with a piece of felt. Plastic Straws also available and work for many electrostatic demos. They become negative when rubbed with fur.
