A Logger Pro Computer magnetic filed probe can be used to detect the direction and magnitude of magnetic fields. The probe can show the direction of a magnetic field, the dependence of magnitude of field strength as related to current in a coil, the number of turns in a solenoid, and the distance from a current carrying wire or a coil. It can also show that the magnetic field inside a solenoid is uniform and the magnetic field between two Helmholtz Coils is also uniform. | |||

Description:
A Logger Pro Computer magnetic filed probe can be used to detect the direction and magnitude of magnetic fields. The probe can show the direction of a magnetic field, the dependence of magnitude of field strength as related to current in a coil, the number of turns in a solenoid, and the distance from a current carrying wire or a coil. It can also show that the magnetic field inside a solenoid is uniform and the magnetic field between two Helmholtz Coils is also uniform.
