Hinge Board of length L, 56 cm, with markings at 0.4L, 0.5L, and L. Pulling on the strings at these length markings with a Force Spring scale shows the varying torque forces applied to be able to open the board. Notice it requires less force to open the board further away from the hinge.

Description:

Force is more 0.5L
Force at 0.5L

Hinge Board of length L, 56 cm, with markings at 0.4L, 0.5L, and L. Pulling on the strings at these length markings with a Force Spring scale shows the varying torque forces applied to be able to open the board. Notice it requires less force to open the board further away from the hinge.

Caution: Hinge Board wood is breaking apart, use it with caution.
