Actual Now its a Buzzer with a flashing light. The classic demonstration of sound's dependence upon a medium. Apply Power and Set the buzzer flashing and buzzing and then evacuate the Bell Jar. Turn off pump and the buzzer is almost silent. (some vibrations vibrate the jar itself.) You can still see the light because light travels through a vacuum. - Power supply of 9V battery
